Recently, Newsnuggets reported on the excitement ahead of the release of a new computer game: Star Wars Battlefront II. Having now played it, it is safe to say it has turned out to fulfil the high expectations. Here is a fresh review for readers in-the-know.
First of all, the graphics are amazing. The new battle points system is also better than the old pickup one although it has one issue: the loot crate system. Many people have said they don’t like this feature.
But don’t forget: the released game is a testing version (“beta”) that will be improved. Also some people who pre-ordered from 29th-30th of September had problems with their download codes. Thankfully, EA and Dice (the presenters and producers) extended the Beta until Wednesday the 11th of October.
Personally, I particularly enjoy playing Strike on Takodana, although there is a balance issue, where the First Order team usually don’t win. The graphics on that map are good as they had access to the place where the filmed Takodana in Star Wars ‘Force Awakens.’
