Recently, Tesla, the American car company, announced that it will release an all new semi-truck. It is capable of driver-less convoy and has a range of 600 miles without charging.
Tesla has invested in a completely new semi-truck that will be available to the public in 2020. Surprisingly, it will go faster than an average diesel/petrol truck, despite being electric, and will cost less than most trucks. It is capable of being partially driver-less with an auto-pilot setting and can change lanes by itself, for example. These trucks won’t make themselves, so Tesla will start production in 2019. The truck will be 100% electric and will go from 0-60 mph in about five seconds if it is empty, but might take more time if the storage is full in the back of it.
