Over the weekend, 11-12 November 2017, 60,000 demonstrators in Warsaw, Poland, took to the streets in a Pro-white Europe march, chanting racist slogans and looking scary. A Newsnuggets reporter who feels strongly about this development comments.
The demonstrations happened during the Polish independence festival, which celebrates the freedom and independence of Poland, that happened at the end of World War 1, in 1918. However, independence didn’t last long, as the Nazis invaded from Germany with their Blitzkrieg of 1939. Neo-Nazis, (modern-day Nazis, that are also called far right-wing) idealists have made attacks in recent years and are now marching the streets.
COMMENT: As a Jew myself, I am disgusted by this sort of thinking; who would murder and be violent just because of someones race! I am also dumbfounded because during World War 2 Poles who disagreed with the Nazis were taken to concentration camps together with the Jews, where mass murder and genocide was committed. Some banners used on the weekend bore disgraceful phrases, here are some: ”Clean Blood,” ”Poland for the Poles.” Let’s hope this behavior stops.
