The U.S. Government has released thousands of files that were previously classified about the assassination of J.F. Kennedy in 1963.
He was shot as he rode his motorbike through Dealey Plaza in downtown Dallas, Texas. A total of 2,800 files have now been released, giving more information about the investigation into the shooting.
Donald Trump, President of America, said people should be “fully informed about this event”. But Mr Trump “informing America” has led to a lot of conspiracy theories.
Some of the documents have been withheld at the request of government agencies. One memo that was released revealed that the FBI had warned police about death threats to Lee Harvey Oswald. Oswald, who was charged with J.F. Kennedy’s murder, was himself shot dead while being transferred from one jail to another.
