We all know the war in the Middle East is deadly, but this has to be one of the most shocking bombings ever. The amount of blood shed in Syria is disgraceful and it is not long until our military could get involved.
The war in Syria is terribly difficult to understand, with many factions fighting dirty in all parts of the country. On top of that, the fundamental conflict between president Assad and several rebel groups, has been joined by large countries from the outside. For example, Russia and Iran support Assad, while USA and Saudi Arabia supports various rebels.
Most hospitals in the largest city Aleppo have already been bombed. But last week, the biggest hospital still standing was attacked by Syrian rebels who dropped bombs from helicopters for hours – one of their targets being the hospital.
300,000 people are trapped in Aleppo, with Assad’s military surrounding the city, and most of their lives will still be taken over the by the war for months to come. This war is not only a small local war but a world-changer. A was that has a scary potential to turn into a World war. It is involving many countries and will do for a long time more, but it’s worst for the people within Syria, where the bombs are actually falling. We can only hope this devastation will soon stop as it is denying millions of children of a normal childhood, and an education.
